3. Key System Units

Commonly known as KSUs or Key Telephone Systems, this phone system is connected to a key system and transfers the calls via landlines. You can use the buttons on the device to select your calls, extend or facilitate calls, view extension information or line status, and transfer calls with ease.

Since the system is limited to a few devices and basic functions, it is only ideal for smaller businesses. However, the affordability factor attracts small business owners who prefer to install this system for its integrity and basic function coverage.

It is an ideal setup for a company with less than 40 employees who typically work within the same premise.

The setup is easy to use and access and thereby suitable for every employee; while the main KSU cannot be moved around, its variation is a bit more flexible. If you often move your business base, get a variable of a Key System Unit.

A system with no KSU is only limited to less than 10 users, which makes it ideal for home offices or for business teams that are just starting out. However, if you want to grow and add more employees to your team, this system is not for you. If you are familiar with a home phone system, you can quickly learn to use a KSU.

Over time, you will be able to fetch better reviews related to your customer service, which can get you more customers.
